Overview & Context

Kohl's Admin has been one of the most recognizable administration suites on Roblox for more than a decade. The modern project is a clean rewrite in Luau, replacing monolithic legacy scripts with a modern, modular, component-driven framework.

As a major contributor and moderator, I focus on core framework stability, predictive command autocomplete, role-based access control (RBAC), and developer extensibility.

Technical Architecture & Core Systems

Reactive UI & Fast Autocomplete

Built on Luau-native reactivity, the interface provides instantaneous autocomplete feedback as commands and arguments are typed, avoiding the clunkiness of older chat-based admin systems.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Granular permission hierarchies allow game owners to assign specific command privileges by user ID, group ranks, or custom game attributes, backed by real-time audit logging.

Addon Architecture

Game creators frequently need bespoke admin commands for their specific experiences. Instead of requiring them to maintain messy git forks of core source code, the addon API lets them register custom commands and hooks through modular scripts.
